Well blended, nuanced fragrance

I haven't smelled Plum Japonais, but a friend asked for my opinion about Springtime in Japan so I bought a 15ML spray and compared it to others descriptions of the Tom Ford scent. The top note is all cinnamon, and I think that's consistent with the OG. As it starts to dry down I get saffron and plum, then the cypress and florals emerge. At this point the cinnamon and other spices are present, but aren't the main accord. There is an amber-woody base, but I wouldn't call it oud. If the scent isn't smoky enough, I think layering it with Ameer Al Oudh (or something similar) would add more smokiness. I used to have Feminite du Bois, and I smell similarities between Springtime in Japan and that, but IMO Springtime in Japan is slightly less fruity (and FdB is compared to Plum Japonais.)

Smells amazing. However, I was very displeased to see the bottles are very clearly smaller than the other 36ml bottles I’ve purchased from La Ree. I also knew the smell was nice because the bottle was leaking and my mailbox was encapsulated with it. Looks like about 2ml missing on top of the less-than 36ml I paid for

my favorite perfume is linterdi’t by givenchy, because of the sophisticated fruity mysterious mess of it. this perfume has the exact same feeling to it and it lasts all day. once my bottle runs out I will definitely grab another one! :)

lived up to hype

I never ordered from La Ree before this one, I bought this particular perfume after a social media & YouTuber I follow spoke very highly of it. She reviews fragrances and is always very honest in her reviews "IamNoelle". I knew I could trust her, but even still my expectations were surpassed!! This is so good, I can't tell you how close it is to the now discontinued Tom Ford Plum Japonais, its identical. She has mentioned this 2 separate times so you know she was impressed. Delivery was also very quick, I am now a La ree customer for life.

Spot On!

Wow!! I am so impressed by this fragrance. They nailed it! I cannot believe how nearly identical this is to the original TF PJ. I actually like this better, because I pick up the cinnamon (fave note) A LOT stronger in this compared to PJ, and the fragrance itself is MUCH stronger than PJ. I am in love with this, and you will be too! I am recommending La Ree to everyone. Fantastic product and customer service.
